Pair of Larger Luckier Cats
(Code LC004)
Description
Pair of really big battery-operated Lucky Cats with a gold foil finish and glittering green and red decoration, AA batteries included. The Lucky Cat originates in Japan where it is known as Maneki Neko although it has been enthusiastically adopted and adapted in China and is now widespread in the western world. To the Japanese, the cat is making a beckoning gesture and is intended as a welcoming figure inviting you to approach or enter. The most common belief is that the left paw raised brings in visitors, while a right paw brings wealth and good luck . . . although some believe the opposite. Please note that both cats in this pair will be left hand wavers
